RetroSound®'s New York is a 1.5 DIN replacement radio for your classic 1983-88 Mercury Cougar. New York looks and fits like the original factory radio, but boasts the most modern technological features. New York is now available with your choice of 3 different feature sets.
Motor 1B
The Motor 1B feature set includes an AM/FM RDS tuner with 30 presets, a built-in 275-watt amplifier (18-watts RMS/40 peak x 4 channels), and built-in Bluetooth® for hands-free calling and high-quality audio streaming. The Motor 1B also includes a rear-mounted auxiliary input for portable devices.

The Motor 2B feature set includes an AM/FM tuner with 30 presets, a built-in 300-watt amplifier (25-watts RMS/45 peak x 4 channels), and built-in Bluetooth® for hands-free calling and high-quality audio streaming. The Motor 2B also includes made-for-iPod®/iPhone functionality to control your Apple device, is compatible with all Android devices, includes a rear-mounted USB port with 2.1-amp device charging, a dedicated subwoofer output, and dual RCA pre-outs to connect an amplifier. The 32,000-color display is adjustable, allowing you to match your vehicle's gauge color.

The Motor 4HD feature set includes HD-Radio® technology, an AM/FM tuner with 30 presets, a built-in 300-watt amplifier (25-watts RMS/45 peak x 4 channels) and is the only classic car stereo that is SiriusXM-Ready®, allowing direct control of your SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner. Retro Manufacturing radios are a modular design. Assembly is required. This design allows for a more adjustable fit and to offer different style options. RetroSound Radios are only compatible with 12V negative grounding vehicles.
