The RetroSound® San Diego RetroRadio™ is the most technologically advanced radio ever made for your classic 1980-84 Volkswagen Rabbit. San Diego has a built-in DAB/DAB+ tuner to receive digital audio broadcasts. (Note: We are including our DAB1 antenna adapter which allows your standard AM/FM antenna to receive the digital DAB signal). Our DAB1 or a DAB specific antenna is required to enjoy DAB broadcasts. San Diego is Made-For-iPod®/iPhone®, offering complete control of your Apple device through the radio.
DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) is the digital audio standard for many countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
San Diego features built-in Bluetooth® connectivity for hands-free phone calls and wireless audio streaming, including wireless browsing from any Android®-based phone. San Diego features a 32,000 color display to customize your radio to your vehicle's interior. Two USB ports for iPod®/iPhone® or USB flash drives loaded with MP3 or WMA files plus two standard auxiliary inputs are provided.
San Diego has a built-in 25 watts x 4 channel power RMS MOSFET amplifier as well as front and rear RCA pre-outs, plus subwoofer output, to add external amplifiers. It mounts seamlessly into your dash thanks to RetroSound®'s patented InfiniMount adjustable bracket system.

Our DIN Install Kit is included with this radio to ensure a perfect fit.
Retro Manufacturing radios are a modular design. Assembly is required. This design allows for a more adjustable fit and to offer different style options. RetroSound Radios are only compatible with 12V negative grounding vehicles.
